The Board of Directors was elected on the 28th of November and currently consists of Dr. Nina-Luisa Siedler (Chairman of the Board), Monique Bachner (Chief Governance Officer), Andrea Bianconi (Chief Finance Officer), Gina Conheady (Chief Membership Officer), Jacek Czarnecki (Chief Technology Officer), Dr. Sven Hildebrandt (Chief Development & Communications Officer) and Anne-Marie Nicolas (Secretary General). 

Dr. Nina-Luisa Siedler

Dr. Nina-Luisa Siedler is Partner and Head of Blockchain Competence Group of DWF. She specializes in structured finance, debt capital markets and various Blockchain/DLT related topics with a focus on governance and financing questions. Besides being Chairman of the thinkBLOCKtank Board, she is a member-at-large of the Interplanetary Database Foundation Board, founding member and speaker of the Finance Working Group of Blockchain Bundesverband (German blockchain association), Advisor of BlockchainHub as well as Member of the EU Blockchain Observatory & Forum’s Working Group “Blockchain Policy and Framework Conditions”.

Monique Bachner

Monique Bachner is an Independent Director and Board Advisor, sitting on several Boards and Advisory Boards and running her own law practice. Having started her career as a corporate lawyer at Magic Circle firms, she now primarily assists Boards in the financial sector. Her particular expertise is at the intersection of ethical, governance and regulatory frameworks. In addition to being the Chief Governance Officer of thinkBLOCKtank, she serves as a Board member of the ILA (the Luxembourg Institute of Directors) and is Chair of LëtzBlock (the Luxembourg Blockchain and DLT Association). Monique is active in several international working groups related to governance, ethics, digitization, decentralization, and regulations.

Andrea Bianconi

Andrea Bianconi is a Business lawyer, writer and speaker with a focus on Blockchain/DLTs and Crypto related topics. He advises on asset and securities tokenization projects. At thinkBLOCKtank Andrea serves as Chief Finance Officer. He is also a member of, a Distributed Economy & Blockchain Think Tank & Crypto Ventures launch pad.

Gina Conheady

Gina Conheady is a Partner in the Corporate and M&A Department at A&L Goodbody and Head of the firm's San Francisco Office. She is also a member of the firm's Fintech's Group. Gina advises a wide range of US tech and fintech clients on multi-jurisdictional projects involving Ireland and the EU. She advises on all aspects of Irish corporate law, with a principal focus on international expansion, tax planning structures, corporate reorganizations and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.  Gina has published numerous articles on various fintech and blockchain-related topics, including an EU Fintech Primer Series for Bloomberg Law. At the thinkBLOCKtank she serves as Chief Membership Officer.

Jacek Czarnecki

Jacek Czarnecki is Legal Counsel at MakerDAO and Graduate of University of Warsaw (Master of Law) and University of Oxford (MSc in Law and Finance). He actively participates in several Polish and international blockchain initiatives, such as Blockchain Hub Warsaw (President), thinkBLOCKtank (Board Member) and Coalition for Polish Innovation (Blockchain Lab Coordinator). At the thinkBLOCKtank he holds the role of the Chief Technology Officer.

Dr. Sven Hildebrandt

Dr. Sven Hildebrandt is working at an asset administration company with 30+bn EUR under administration. Besides being Chief Development & Communications Officer of the thinkBLOCKtank, he is Vice President of the “Junger Wirtschaftsrat” and member of the EU Finance Working Group of Blockchain Bundesverband (German blockchain association). He is also a Member of the BVI Bundesverband Investment und Asset Management e.V. as well as several other clubs and associations.

Anne-Marie Nicolas

Anne-Marie Nicolas is Partner in the Banking and Finance practice group and head of the Fintech team of Loyens & Loeff Luxembourg. She specializes in various types of cross-border finance transactions and debt (re)structurings as well as in regulatory, Fintech and corporate governance matters. She is a member of the Luxembourg Bankers' Association’s Digital Banking and FinTech Innovation Cluster” and the DBFI Working Group "Distributed Ledger Technology" Member of the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) ICO Working Group. At the thinkBLOCKtank, she serves as Secretary General.
