Conor O’Hanlon is an associate in the blockchain and digital currency team of Perkins Coie LLP. He regularly advises clients on the application of financial regulations to blockchain/DLT related projects. He has a background in finance and capital markets regulation, with a particular focus on derivatives, lending and central counterparty clearing. Conor writes and speaks regularly on blockchain/DLT regulatory topics and has a particular interest in legal issues relating to stablecoins, prediction markets, crypto-derivatives, leverage and market manipulation. Conor is a New York attorney and English solicitor, and previously practised with an international law firm in London and New York. Conor is also a member of the Law Society of Ireland (non-practising).
